Dirk Nowitzki will represent the Dallas Mavericks in Sunday's 2012 NBA All-Star game when he comes off the bench for the Western Conference squad. The West is looking for its second straight win over the East after taking last year's win 148-143. Nowitzki finished with six points last season but scored 22 during the 2010 game.

Nowitzki joins a Western Conference squad that will feature Kevin Durant, Blake Griffin, Kobe Bryant, Chris Paul and Andrew Bynum as fan voted starters. The East squad also isn't short on star power with LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, Derrick Rose, Carmelo Anthony and Orlando's own Dwight Howard taking their places in the starting lineup.
